Meet the Team
Dr. Kim Lamb
Those of us who practice holistic medicine usually fall into it for one reason or another. In my conventional practice, I was becoming increasingly frustrated with cancer, chronic ear, skin and digestive problems that I could not completely heal. I felt there had to be more to offer my patients and their owners. In 2003, after a life changing event, I decided to sell my practice in Wisconsin, pack up my kids, and move back to New Hampshire. I thought this was the perfect opportunity to pursue my training in acupuncture, herbal, and energy medicine to provide answers for patients that were not well served by pharmaceutical drugs or surgery. I incorporate nutrition, herbs, acupuncture, energy medicine and chiropractic into my appointments. Ultimately, I love what I do and feel I am now actually practicing healing medicine. I have seen more remarkable changes in animals using a holistic approach than in my previous 15 years of conventional medicine. I look forward to providing your companion with alternative healing care!
I share my home with my husband, Tom, 3 dogs and a cat. We have four children, grown and out of house, and we are enjoying our new role as grandparents to our two young grandchildren. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, gardening, skiing and tai-chi.

Dr. Steffi
I was born and raised in Germany and received my veterinary degree in Munich. Upon moving to the United States in 2010, I started working at a very busy conventional small animal clinic, treating mostly cats and dogs.
When my soul dog Dakotah, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, grew old, I was introduced to acupuncture and other alternative modalities which improved his quality of life immensely. This started my journey of exploring alternative medicine modalities and a more holistic approach to treating my patients.
At around the same time I also became more and more concerned about the growing numbers of dogs and cats with chronic diseases like diabetes, renal failure, liver issues, allergies, obesity and cancer. I felt that Western medicine gave me only limited options to treat these patients which pushed me to look for alternative and more holistic ways to help them.
My dream is to support pet owners on how to take care of their babies in a way which hopefully reduces the risk of the development of all of those awful chronic diseases and enables them to live their best life.
In my free time, I enjoy going to dog events with my Rhodesian Ridgebacks, watching my son play soccer and enjoying life with my family on a small little farm with chicken, ducks and two Sulcata tortoises.

Reception
I have been married for 29 years and I am mother to 8 children and grandmother to 5. When I’m not at work you will find me puttering around on my family farm where I have cows, goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, horses, and two dogs. I have countless hobbies but my favorites are fiber arts and making soap. I love spending time with my family, either playing card games or out on the trails four wheeling.

Veterinary Technician
I have always been on a path to better myself and hone and learn new skills as a veterinary technician. I sat for my Veterinary Technician National Exam in 1993 and have worked as a head technician in a variety of conventional veterinary practices for over 25 years. I am also an ASVDT certified Veterinary Dental Technician.
I consider myself an empathetic veterinary technician, committed to the ethical treatment of animals. Holistic Veterinary Care has given me the opportunity to explore and apply non-invasive treatment and relief for our pets without subjecting them to any difficult or uncomfortable side effects. My education continues here at Holistic Veterinary Care as I learn more about these holistic approaches and my role in assisting the veterinarians to implement them.
Outside of my role as veterinary technician, I enjoy hiking, playing the Great Highland Scottish Bagpipes, oil painting and creating traditional jointed teddy bears.
